Tom Vowden BA (Hons.) MA is a qualified and experienced Stained Glass Conservator who has worked on a variety of conservation projects including York Minster Cathedral, Trinity College Oxford, Westminster Cathedral and the Palace of Westminster.
In 2013 Tom was awarded a QEST scholarship for talented craftspeople which enabled him to complete an MA in Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management at the University of York.
With support from the Zibby Garnett Travel Fellowship, Tom visited a leading stained glass studio in India and conducted his dissertation thesis on the conservation potential of stained glass in the Afghan Memorial Church, Mumbai.
Tom is a member of the British Society of Master Glass Painters and is CSCS Registered. He specialises in the conservation of historic glass of all periods as well as bespoke stained glass designs and is able to undertake projects at any scale.
