Tom Vowden BA (Hons.) MA is a qualified and experienced Stained Glass Conservator. He has worked on a number of high profile conservation projects including York Minster Cathedral, Trinity College Oxford, Harrow School, Westminster Cathedral and the Palace of Westminster.

In 2013 Tom received a QEST scholarship, awarded to talented craftspeople, to complete an MA in Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management at the University of York.

​

Tom was also awarded a Zibby Garnett Travel Fellowship and undertook work experience at a leading stained glass studio in India. This formed his dissertation thesis on the conservation requirements of stained glass in the Afghan Memorial Church in Mumbai, India.

Coruscate Stained Glass operates from a studio based at Grandey's Place, Heritage Craft Centre in East Hertfordshire and has an office in Wanstead, London. He specialises in the conservation of historic glass of all periods as well as bespoke stained glass designs and is able to undertake projects at any scale.
